Who is responsible
This site is operated by Rida Jamal Badawi Abu-Sokon. Questions about your data can be sent to Rida.313.jamal@gmail.com.
Requests and inquiries
When you submit a request, correction, or application, the site stores the fields you complete:
- name, email address, country, optional organisation, role, level, topic, and message;
- your preferred contact method and, for book corrections, the chapter, page, and suggested correction;
- a one-way hash of your network address, used only to limit abuse (the address itself is not stored).
This information is used only to respond to you. It is visible only to the site operator and is never published. If the form cannot store your request, it offers an email alternative instead — in that case your message goes directly through your own email provider.
Community
Posting in the community requires signing in through the hosting platform. The site receives an account identifier and email address from that sign-in; your email is never shown to other members. Other members see only your chosen display name and the posts and replies a moderator has approved. Reports are reviewed privately.
Math Lab
All Math Lab computation runs in your browser. Values you enter are not sent to the server.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses only cookies required for sign-in. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and no analytics service is enabled. If privacy-respecting analytics are added later, this notice will be updated first.
Retention and your choices
Requests are kept while they are being handled and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up. You can ask for your requests, profile, or posts to be deleted at any time by writing to the address above or through the contact form.
Security
Inputs are validated on the server, submissions are rate-limited, and user-written content is displayed as text — never as executable code.
